		lorygrrl	I love the opening paragraph, can't wait to see what happens to Rafe and Sky. I found this sentence to be a bit awkward though "The boy had come to him last winter along with his mother after the funeral of Rafe's brother Shad." I had to reread the paragraph to make sure I was clear on where the woman had come from...but this could also be that I'm quite tired.
