Thanks for your visit, Jacque, I love to "see" you! I had a toad like this living next to the front porch in California at the ranch I had; he was BIG! We also had a zillion little frogs; I called them 'water frogs' cos' they lived in the (really deep) pond in the spring. They would literally climb the house walls! They also made a beautful racket in the evenings until they finished mating -- over the summer the pond would evaporate plus there was a leak in the earth dam that we never found.
I wish I had a photo of it but I don't. They had an old fashioned western windmill for the well pump that the next owners (the ones previous to us) took down and replaced with a new well and a modern pump . . .
