Bono is amazing, loves a lot of people even tho' he started out knwoing no one as Dublin ahd no access to American music. Lou Reed is a close friend, so is Dylan and Johnny Cash was. I adore Leonard Cohen, where'd you see that movie? Bono says he's the "man who can't say no". Opera - point me to what's good. I love "Die Zauberflote", "Aida" (have an old recorded PBS performance, gave me thrills, chills and tears), the old recording of Milnes and Domingo duets (poor sound but wow what a voice Milnes had), and more but I am woefully iggerant! "Aida" blew me away - the black soprano? who sang brought the house down (was quite awhile back). I love the Messiah when great voices sing the arias . . .
		cateycate	whenever i see these i always think of a rhyme my dad used to say to me as a little girl. i wish i could remember it. re. the crossword painting- i was completely mesmerized by it. it's one of the most amazing things i've ever seen.
