After a full day of driveing that going 40 miles in 8 hrs. they turned us off of I24 and from the overpass with the sun setting I was glad to find a hotel with a room. We had to make our own beds and run to a stop and shop for some crackers and slice meat, and get gas. All the restaurants were closed and some gas stations were close because people counldn't get to work. Same with the hotels. The irony of it all was the day was beautiful the sun was out no snow or rain, just the left over mess from the day before. |
