My long ago friend and still close friend finally got a camera! for her 50th BD!
Maria and I met when we were THIRTEEN years old! She is a violist with Philharmania Baroque Orchestra.
These are her beautiful children, only one of which I ever met (Ruth!), when she was a toddler!
Ruth, 20, is a student at Santa Clara University
Isaac is 15
and Alena is 12
Her husband Phil designed and built the house they are standing in front of competely by hand, and I mean EVERYTHING.
You cannot see much of it in this cropped shot but, as an example, he even constructed, planed and carved the doors himself! (no wonder it took 20 years! Not to mention that he started it before he married Maria and did it all with hard CASH, no mortgage, so he had to work, then build then work, then build!)
They live in Sebastopol, CA.
