Same fire as before. This time I am away from the fire. When I was real close just seconds before, and taking pictures, and looking through the camera it blew. Now I am and was not the skinny firemen. But I would have passed Jessie Owens as I ran like hell away from that blast. Bricks were falling around me and I could feel the heat on my back as I ran. The guys in that Tower Ladder had no were to run. Good for fire stories later in life. |
