Vermonter,farmer,owner of junk store.
A drugged out down and out couple drove up while we were buying
some old end tables asking for directions to a place that didn't exist on any map we had. After we gave them our map I asked John whether he wanted us to hang out. He said, as he showed us a bat behind a pole he kept for protection, "eh, they're just woodchucks"..
Later on, someone told us that can be used to describe a native Vermonter but I think only negatively...
