DuckBoy Episode #15 Approaching
DuckBoy escapes the Vortex of Scrambled Letters and approaches a strange moving statue whose arms reach out and then dance away. It is mysterious and yet like home. It is not part of him and yet part of him. The eye watches him with caution and seeming love. He thinks of Goethe's Chorus Mysticus,"the eternal feminine leads us onward". It's like a song that courses thru him. "I’m so glad, I’m so glad. I’m glad, I’m glad, I’m glad. I’m so glad, I’m so glad. I’m glad, I’m glad, I’m glad.
I don’t know what to do, I don’t know what to do, I don’t know what to do. I’m tired of weeping, I’m tired of moaning, I’m tired of crying for you." He smiles at how Cream had caught that feeling. He cannot quite approach but cannot leave. He takes cautious steps toward it. After all that has occurred he is suspicious. He smiles and says half out loud,"let's take this slow,ok..." He knows things never happen slowly for him. |
